Love is in the Air! Happy Valentine’s Day!

Can you feel the love in the air? We are surrounded by things in red, purple, 💕 💐 and Valentines. Everything is over commercialized.

Flowers I have received from my wonderful husband over the years! Lucky me he feels the love!

Let not your feelings on this day be dictated by things around us. If you feel the love then go with it and buy your loved one a box of chocolates, a lovely card, and wine and dine him or her to your heart’s content.

If you don’t have a significant other, then buy your mother or aunt or sister something to celebrate the day. Or, maybe a box of chocolates for yourself? Or a book from Jemsbooks! Whatever works.

For me, I love my roses and maybe a nice dinner of seafood, my favorite, lobster and clams! Ah! That is Heaven on earth to me!

I’ve been working on a Valentine’s poem for my husband. He insists that I can do better than a store-bought card. Ha! I try to make him happy after all he does for me! I won’t share it here, sorry. It is only for him. But I will share another poem for Valentine’s Day just for my readers!

Sorry for the shameless publicity on this day! Hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! I just did! While I was posting this there was a delivery – a dozen red roses – from my husband, or course, who was busy painting away in our basement. He never stops! God, do I love this man! I am blessed!
