Do you have a good book to read this summer?

I read about 7-9 books a month. How many do you read? There are millions of books to choose from online. I will never be able to read them all in my lifetime. But I am doing my best.

Since I am an eclectic reader I am also an eclectic writer. You can see from all the genres I have written in and for all the grades that I crisscross. I sometimes mix genres too. Go check out all these 39 books and see what I mean. There is something for everyone, I promise you!

JEMSBOOKS NOVELS FOR 18+ are available on Amazon as paperbacks and ebooks (Kindle) and Barnes & Noble as paperbacks.

I am currently working on a new series. It quite different from what I have done in the past. But it is not a children’s book. It is more for 18+ because of the material that I cover. Even though it is not explicit, it infers more than it tells. Just the same it is not for children to read. I plan to write 4-6 of these stories. Not sure if my muse is up to it but we’ll see. Whenever I write for 18+ I write under my pen name of J.E. Spina. All the rest of my books for children, MG/PT/YA are written under Janice Spina.

There is another book in the wings too. Another different book but similar to the one above. It is more spiritual and funny. Well, I hope it will be funny. It is in its early stages of creation.

Jumping around genres and ages groups is what my mind does. I have no way to stop it (my mind, I mean). It is so cluttered with so many ideas that bounce around each other vying for my attention. I sometimes think I am going crazy! Yikes! But I keep plugging along and writing whatever comes into my mind. My mind is on a race to complete 50 books before I leave this world. I hope I can do it! Wish me luck! I only have 11 more to go! Wow!

I also have begun Book 3 of the fantasy series, Gateskin Chronicles, that is in it early stages too. Who knows where that will go? I hope my muse and characters lead the way because I don’t have a clue yet about it. Check out Books 1 & 2 in the meantime and LET THE ADVENTURES AND MAGIC BEGIN! Happy reading everyone!

Well, I hope you have a wonderful summer or whatever season you are in and read tons of books! Reading is good for your health. I have read so many books that Goodreads keeps giving me awards for my reading prowess. They can’t seem to keep up with me. They may have to come up with some new awards just for me. Haha! I am a serious book addict. I admit it! Do they have a BAA (book addict anonymous club)?

Thanks for stopping by to read this post. Feel free to come back any time. Remember to review books for us authors. We are in desperate need of them and appreciate your support! Take care.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

I am always envious of folks who are fast readers- I can only manage four books a month at the most and if they are larger volumes, then it is less. I have always been a slow reader but I do tend to remember the stories I read for years to come, so maybe it is not a bad thing.

I read every spare minute I can carve out of my day. So far this year, I’ve read 58 books. So many more waiting for me. I cannot imagine a life without reading.
