Summer Reading coming for PS-Grade 3 from JEMSBOOKS EXPRESS! Showcasing – LAMBY THE LONELY LAMB!

At this writing I have 19 children’s books for PS-Grade 3. Seventeen of these books are in rhyme while the other two are not. They all carry life lessons that encourage children to be kind, caring and sensitive to others’ feelings, help others in need and it’s okay to be different.

Lamby the Lonely Lamb was third book I published, written in 2014 and dedicated to my little granddaughter who was three years old at that time. She had a stuffed lamby that she carried everywhere she went. My daughter bought another lamby just in case the first one fell apart. She washed one while my granddaughter slept with the other. Leah was just too smart and noticed they were different and called them by different names. Luckily she did not reject the second one but she insisted that she would only sleep with Lamby, not his twin.

One day my granddaughter asked me to write a story about her stuffed lamb but make it purple. Purple, at the time, was her favorite color. Well, after some ruminating about this I came up with Lamby the Lonely Lamb. She loved it! I put her photo on the back page with her Lamby. This book means a lot to me and her since it keeps her a little girl forever in my mind.

MOM’S CHOICE AWARDS – SILVER MEDAL!

Lamby is a very different lamb because of his color. He is lonely and only wants to be accepted by the other lambs. Find out what lesson Lamby learns when a little girl, Leah, comes to the farm where Lamby lives.

The cover was created by my husband who creates all the illustrations and covers for my books. I love this cover because it tells you in one glance about Lamby. He is so sweet and sad at the same time. Children love Lamby’s story and the happy ending too. Bring Lamby home today to share with your children. They will learn an important life lesson.

Lamby the Lonely Lamb – Lamby teaches children to accept differences and to be kind to others.

Here are some reviews from Amazon from readers who loved Lamby using promos from AllAuthor.com.

Please consider giving books to all the children on your list for all occasions. There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them. You are giving them so much more than you could ever imagine, e.g., you spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and welbeing and encourage them to love reading. The gift of a book is worth more than gold to our children, grandchildren. Keep reading and gifting books to children. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers. Thank you for your support!

I feel pure joy writing for children and hope with God’s help and blessing to continue to write many more fun adventures for children to read and enjoy. I do enjoy writing for MG/PT/YA and 18+ too!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this review. I hope you will check out this book and all the other children’s book by Jemsbooks for good, wholesome reading with valuable life lessons that will stay with your children for a lifetime. Happy summer or any time reading!
