This may be the first Easter that my family has not been together to celebrate Christ is Risen! We will try to use an online app to get everyone virtually together by video. Even though we are not going to be physically together we will be in our hearts and souls.
I hope everyone out there will have a safe and happy Easter celebration by phone, video or FaceTime, Skype or Zoom or other apps. As long as we spread the love that way we will be helping each other to be safe and healthy. God Bless you all!
It feels like spring when I see crocuses sprouting up around the neighborhood. These photos are from a recent walk around my neighborhood. It felt good to get out of the house and breathe the fresh air and feel the warmer temperatures.
I saw this lovely saying written on a driveway while I was walking around my neighborhood. It’s a wonderful thing to share with all of you. I love it! Let’s think positive!
We are all set up for the spring and summer entertaining, but alas, there will not be any for a little while yet. This deck looks lonely but my husband and I will enjoy it until we can fill it once again with family and friends.
While we are still stuck in let’s keep our children busy learning important life lessons that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Since you can’t visit your grandchildren why not send them a book from Amazon or Barnes & Noble to read. Here is a children’s book that would make a perfect gift for that special child in your life at Easter time. This book carries life lessons about being kind to others, accepting differences, it’s okay to be different.
It’s so important that children know the importance of being kind to others who are different whether they are of different color or in any other way. We need to be a kinder and more caring world toward one another. I think this pandemic has done that and made many kinder to others. That warms my heart. We need to love one another and embrace our differences. I hope you and your children will enjoy this book and take away importance values from it.
This book was written for my granddaughter when she was three years old. The back cover has her photo with her own Lamby. She asked me to write a story about her Lamby and make it purple. I had no idea what I was going to write but this story came to me after some thought. She was thrilled with it. It won a MOM’S CHOICE AWARD! This book and all Jemsbooks are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble (children’s books) and Barnes & Noble (Novels for 18+).
Lamby is a very different lamb because of his color. He is lonely and only wants to be accepted by the other lambs. Find out what lesson Lamby learns when a little girl, Leah, comes to the farm where Lamby lives.
I feel pure joy writing for children and hope with God’s help and blessing to continue to write many more fun adventures for children to read and enjoy. I do enjoy writing for MG/PT/YA and 18+ too!
We need to remember that this Pandemic will pass and everything will return to normal or close to it. I think we will always feel different because of what this has done to our world. It has made us more cautious of how we wash our hands, spend time in crowds and what we do in our spare time. I hope we all learn some valuable lessons from this COVID-19 virus.
We have been forced to slow down and take a good hard look around us, appreciate that we are alive, that we have homes, food, and everything we need to survive whatever comes our way. We will get through this together/alone. Take care and God bless you all!
