Do You Need a Little Laughter about Now?

Even though it has only been a month since the COVID-19 invaded our homes, our country and the world. It feels like it’s been a lot longer.

Each day I wake up before I turn on the TV I imagine that everything that has happened to our world is all just a nightmare. But, alas, it is not. It is a living nightmare but we must all get through together alone.

We now have to take extra precaution washing our hands, add to that washing all our fruit and vegetables with soap, wiping down every item that we purchase from the supermarket and stripping down upon arrival home from our shopping to wash our clothes and shower off the possible virus from our bodies. It is totally exhausting but necessary to stay well and safe.

On the light side of things we need to keep positive. We need laughter to keep us healthy in mind and spirit. Please keep strong and be thankful for all the good things we have in our lives. Thank God for everything that he has enabled us to have and for keeping us safe and well.

Some thoughts for you to ponder which may provide a much needed chuckle.

Have you noticed that your pets (dogs) are thrilled to have you home?

As for your cats – they are contemplating suicide!

What’s with all the toilet paper hoarding? Are these people planning on wallpapering their homes? It boggles my mind! Just buy two-ply – you can use both sides!

How much bread do you need? The aisles are always empty! Evidently the people who are buying all the bread are not gluten sensitive! If they are gluten sensitive they’re surely saving on laxatives!

Why is there plenty of broccoli? Kids refuse to eat it even it if was the last thing on earth!

Why are some people grumpy if you get too close to them in the supermarket? They are usually the ones who are pushing and clipping you with their carts. This too will pass and they will be pushing and shoving everyone in their way soon.

How much would you give for a roll of toilet paper? Your first born?

One way to stay happy – don’t listen to the news on TV or read the paper – stay in bed!

Once we are back to normal we will be running around like chickens with their heads cut off because we won’t know where to go or what to do first!

I hope these make you laugh! Laughter is good for our minds, bodies and souls.

Keep praying that this will be over soon with the least amount of fatalities. Stay strong, stay well and God Bless!

Here’s a little dose of Ellen to make you laugh. It’s a laugh compilation with many of her guests. Did you know that laughter is good for your brain? Enjoy!

Who doesn’t love babies laughing? Check out these hysterical reactions with babies laughing. Love it!! Get ready to laugh! But a word of caution – please use the bathroom first so you don’t have an embarrassing accident. Oops!

The above two videos are from YouTube. Compliments and thanks to YouTube.

I hope these make you laugh. Laughter is good for for our brains! Keep reading and laughing! You will stay healthier and have more fun!

Keep busy and productive each day. Reading is a wonderful way for everyone to escape the loneliness of social distancing. It also helps us to forget a little about what is going on around us and keeps our minds active and thinking about more pleasant things.

All my books are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble (children’s books) Barnes & Noble (Novel 18+) and some other online stores. Get reading and get healthier, my friends. Take care.

I feel pure joy writing for children and hope with God’s help and blessing to continue to write many more fun adventures for children to read and enjoy. I do enjoy writing for MG/PT/YA and 18+ too!

My goal as an author of Novels for 18+ is to encourage everyone to read daily to enhance their lives and increase their creativity and good health. Please keep reading and I will keep writing. Happy reading everyone!

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!
