Happy New Year!


Can you believe it is 2014 already? Where did the year go? I had so many things I wanted to do and completed some.  This year my list will be longer.

1. Publish at least three more children’s books

2. Publish two novels ( a mystery, YA fantasy)

3. Write four more children’s books

4. Blog twice or more a week

5. Complete spiritual/mystery novel that is in outline form

6. Support PiA and my friend Paul G Day

7. Support my friend Deanie Dunn

8. Support all my friends in PiA

9. Support all Indie Authors who need me

10. Copy edit other author’s books who need me

11. Read over 100 books

12.  Review 100 books

13. Visit and like other blogs daily

14. Pray daily for all those who need support and love

15. Be there to give to others whatever I can, God willing

Janice is an award-winning author with 12 children's books for PS-Gr 4, 9 middle-grade/preteen/young adult books, written under Janice Spina, and 3 novels, and a short story collection written under J.E. Spina. She is also a writer of poetry, blogger, avid reader, reviewer and a copy editor. Janice has always loved writing and started very young writing poetry, then stories. Abby & Holly Book 1 School Dance won a Bronze Medal from Readers’ Favorite Book Awards. Book 5 of Davey & Derek also won a Silver Medal from Authorsdb Cover Contest. Hunting Mariah and Mariah’s Revenge were Finalists in Authorsdb First Lines Contest, Book 4 of Davey & Derek Series was a Finalist in Red City Review and received a 5-Star Review from Readers’ Favorite Book Awards. All Janice's books are available on Amazon.com, Kindle, B&N and other online book sites. One of her sports' poems was published in The Lawrence Eagle Tribune in October of 2008. She is currently working on Book 4 of Abby & Holly series for girls and a Dragon series for young children. A YA fantasy series will be coming in 2020 and beyond along with more children's books. Her hobbies are crocheting, walking to keep fit, hula hooping, going to the movies with her husband, and spending time with her five grandchildren. Being an author is a tough road and there are a lot of bumps along the way to get over. You have helped me get over some big ones! xo
