Hearty Winter Soup Recipe for Cold Days

My husband has been nagging me constantly about making some more soup during all this cold. I finally have all the ingredients after shopping recently and agreed that it is time to make SOUP!

This is my mother’s recipe that I have built on and share on my blog under JANICE’S CORNER KITCHEN or HERE. Please check out all the recipes that you will find there.

If you are in the season of winter and all this cold, I hope that you will try this hearty and healthy recipe with your family soon. You will get your children to eat vegetables, and not realize it because it tastes so good! Happy eating!

This soup is packed with delicious escarole, carrots, celery, barley, hard boiled eggs, onions, and chicken and bouillon. This makes for a wonderful lunch or dinner with a crusty bread or by itself. I look forward to having a big bowl of this for dinner and a few lunches after.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Feel free to come back anytime. You are always welcome at JemsBooks where something is always brewing!
