I stepped outside today after the rain subsided for a couple of hours. The grass was already dry as I walked around our yard to look at the Rose of Sharon bushes.
Some of the bushes are prolific with blossoms while other bushes haven’t begun blooming. I snapped these photos of all the bushes that are in bloom right now. I promise to share more photos of the other bushes once they begin to share their beauty also.

Here are some other flowers that are doing well – roses and hydrangeas. Deer are beginning to eat my hydrangeas. Sigh! I snapped photos while they were still there. I managed to catch a large bumblebee inside one of the roses.

I hope you enjoyed my photos of all the beauty around. I never tire of admiring the flowers that we have and love to share their gorgeous display with all my readers. May these flowers brighten your day and lift your spirits. They certainly do that for me!

Beautiful, Janice. These flowers always make me think of The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck because that is where I first heard mention of them.
Happy to hear that you enjoyed them. I didn’t realize they were in The Grapes of Wrath. 🥰
Yes, the one daughter name is Rose of Sharon.
Oh I see. 😂
So pretty
Thank you so much! ❤️
We have three we planted in the local meadow – growing like weeds.,
Wonderful! They do spread.
