Do you ever think about what you are thankful for each day? I do.
Here is what I am thankful for:
- I am thankful for my wonderful husband who supports me tirelessly.
- I am thankful for my children, grandchildren and all the rest of my relatives near and far.
- I am thankful for my dear friends.
- I am thankful for my readers.
- I am thankful for the support of my fellow authors.
- I am thankful to God, most of all, for my good health and the ability to keep writing for as long as HE allows me the gift to do so.
There are so many people around me that I pray for each day that they will stay healthy, happy and live long lives. As long as we have our health, we have everything we need in life. I pray for all my readers that they will have good health and be able to enjoy a long life of love, family, and prosperity.
I think about how precious life is each time we lose another person in our lives whether that person is close to us or far. It is a difficult process to handle – the loss of someone you love. I have lost a few acquaintances and an extended family member recently.
I also have an aunt who lives or lived on the west coast. She has been a supporter of me and my work once we connected on FB. Recently I tried to contact her around her birthday but to no avail. I read comments about wishes for her in Heaven. I guess that tells me that she passed and I didn’t even know it. So sad. I never met her. I don’t have any connection to her children so I cannot get in touch with anyone out there. I don’t think she shared my information with them.
She was my father’s youngest sister who was only 6 years older than I am. My father came from a large family of nine children. He has been gone since 2001. I miss him every day. Now all his siblings are gone. I did get to meet a few of them over the years but never the youngest sister. I pray that she is in Heaven with her parents and siblings now. Maybe one day I will meet her.
A blessing to all who have lost loved ones in your lives. I pray that you will receive the strength to go on that you need from God.
Roses always cheer me up when I am feeling low. I hope they do the same for you. Let’s be thankful for all that we have in our lives, our loved ones, our health, our homes, and the love and blessings of God.
Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. Come back again soon. You are always welcome.

There is so much to be thankful for!!
Yes, there is, Darlene. Maybe we will meet one day as you did with Sally. That would be something to be thankful for. Hugs x
That would be awesome!
💕
I try to make sure to thank God for something every day: and try not to ever overlap or duplicate. It’s a great exercise to recognize how much we have to be thankful for. (I had a friend suggest this to me: 5 things each day she said)
Perfect! I like that, Vicgrefer! Thank you so much for stopping by! Nice to meet you! 🥰
I wouldn’t want to hijack your post, so I will simply say this… I am grateful for my life!
Amen to a special person who I am honored to call a friend! ❤️
I am thankful to God, that I am still here and alive and that he keeps me functional with that bad thing in my body. But i believe, HE took it out for good and I am free of it. And, as you said, I am thankful for all that as well. Particular for my husband, he is supporting me in all that. and he is lifting me up, when I am down. So, Thank you God, Hallelujah
Amen! God bless you, Gigi! 💕
You nailed it! I have nothing to add!
