We have had a little snow from time to time, but the latest snowfall was more significant than the previous ones in 2022. This is our first snowfall in 2023! We were expecting up to a foot of snow, but it didn’t make that.
I snapped some photos from the warmth and safety of my home. I don’t like going out in it since I am getting up in years and don’t do well in the cold or walking on slippery sidewalks and streets. I refuse to drive in it too. That’s the upside of getting older – you can do whatever you want. No one can tell you what to do – or if they do, you just don’t listen to them! Ha!
I tried to convince my husband not to shovel but he insisted it had to be done. I am still not better from the virus I am fighting and didn’t trust going out to help him and possibly getting sicker. He took his time, and it is now finished. I kept my eyes on him to make sure he was okay though. Sigh!
The snow was wet and heavy and he did not think the electric shovel could have handled it. I don’t know about that!?

Snow is nice to look at and watch as it covers the ground with a white blanket. The trees are covered and outlined in a lovely way by the snow. It glistens in the light and makes everything look pure and pristine until the next day. I enjoy it while it lasts this way before it becomes unsightly.
I hope you are staying safe if you are out and about in this weather. Take care.

Brr. Stay warm and enjoy the view.
Will do! ❄️☃️🥰
I wish we’d get some snow, but winters here have become warmer – our last significant snowfall was probably 10 years ago. Pretty scenery!
Wow, that is sad. I love seeing the snow and the changing seasons. I’ll send some your way. Ha! 🥰
I’d love some, but people go crazy around here when it snows. We’ll be out in Utah to visit our granddaughter in mid-February (actually our son is having a knee operation and he and his wife need help!) so I’ll certainly see some then!
God bless your son with his surgery. Enjoy the snow! Take care, my friend. 🥰
Thank you! Even though he’s now 40, he’s still my little boy!
They will always be our babies. I call my daughter my baby girl and my son my baby boy. They laugh at me. But I think they like it. 😘🤪
🙂 🙂
It was beautiful!
Yes it was!! ❄️☃️
