Looking for books for your Young Adults?

Jemsbooks has a new series for Young Adults – The Misunderstood Angel (Branyrd the Angel Series). It is fun, entertaining and comical to read about this new kind of angel. She doesn’t always follow the rules but tries hard to toe the line. She will make you laugh, cry and want to cheer her on. She is Branyrd the Angel. If you don’t believe in angels, once you read this you will become a believer.

This book is not for young children but young adult 15 and up will enjoy it. I put 18+ on the book so parents could read it first and decide whether it is suitable for their young adults. I plan to give it to my granddaughter when she reaches 15 but I will prepare my daughter to read it beforehand. There are no unsavory situations in this book, but it does carry some language (minor expletives). I never use a certain four-letter word in any of my books. You can be certain of that, parents.

This is not a children’s book. Branyrd is a different kind of angel. She has a difficult time being understood because of her habit of getting into all kinds of trouble and for her unacceptable language. Angels are not supposed to swear.

This angel must earn levels to be accepted by the LORD. She is presently at Angel Fourth Class and must ascend to Angel First Class in order to be given a mission to travel to Earth to help a human in trouble.

Once she reaches Angel First Class, she is given a mission and travels to Earth to help a battered woman and her child. Since she is so new to the ways on Earth, Branyrd is accompanied by her Guardian Angel Benedicto, Angel First Class on High, who guides and advises her.

Branyrd doesn’t know what she will do or how she will complete this mission. She must show her strengths and succeed, or she may be demoted. What she finds on Earth is not what she expected. It certainly is nothing like Heaven. There are dangerous people but also those who she will miss dearly when she must leave.

Watch for Book 2 coming in 2023 with another mission for Branyrd.

See what others are saying about this delightful angel.

This series came to me one day when I was watching TV news and all its tragedies and heartbreaking stories. I wanted to create a character that would solve the problems of the world in her own inimitable way. I think Branyrd does just that – solve problems that others cannot. She makes believers of the unbelievers that there is something greater out there then we are and that nothing is impossible if you believe.

I am currently working on book 2 of this series with another important and serious mission for Branyrd. She will have her ups and downs, but she has her Guardian Angel to help her along the way.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post. I hope if you haven’t already read this book that you will check it out soon. I’m sure it will amuse and delight you and have you wanting more from Branyrd.
