What are you thankful for in 2022?

I think there are many things to be thankful for in 2022.

  1. That the worst of COVID may be behind us now.
  2. Love of my husband, family and friends
  3. For my good health
  4. For the ability to keep writing and publishing books for all ages
  5. For the ability to crochet to my heart’s content
  6. That I can help others in need when I can
  7. For all my online friends who support me and my books

Above Christmas Ball (WordArt.com) of online friends/fellow authors who have been supportive of me and my books. A special thank you to all of them, and for anyone I may have missed, I apologize.

I pray for:

  1. All the homeless
  2. Sick
  3. War torn parts of the world that the war will come to an end and the people will be free
  4. The soldiers serving their countries
  5. The injured
  6. All who need prayers

This year 2022 has been a busy year for me. I did manage to publish three books. I would have had a fourth but there’s wasn’t enough time to publish it in 2022 with the holiday keeping me hopping. It will be published in January of 2023 though.

I am working on three different series – Gateskin Chronicles, Branyrd the Angel, Bedtime Stories for Children. Gateskin is a fantasy and will have six books in all. Branyrd will have four books, and Bedtime Stories will have four. I may change my mind about the four books in these two series if more stories come to mind. There are other ideas swirling around in my brain that may surface sometime during the year! I never know myself what I am going to write! My muse has control!

My books received four awards – 2 Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards and 2 Mom’s Choice Awards!

The First StarMom’s Choice Awards – Silver Medal

Drystan the Dragon and Friends Series Book 1: Drystan and Durward Save the DayPinnacle Book Achievement Award

Drystan the Dragon and Friends Series Book 2: Damara Helps Drystan Find His RoarPinnacle Book Achievement Award

Make Believe (Bedtime Stories for Children) Mom’s Choice Awards – Silver Medal

I want to thank BMGN – Theodocia McLean for all her hard work to promote my work and AllAuthor.com for their wonderful promos too. I couldn’t have promoted my books without their help and fabulous promotions.

I feel pure joy writing for children and hope with God’s help and blessing to continue to write many more fun adventures for children to read and enjoy. I do enjoy writing for MG/PT/YA and 18+ too!

Jemsbooks Children’s books are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

My goals for 2023 are:

  1. publish 3 books
  2. Read 80 books on Goodreads & review them
  3. promote my fellow authors
  4. offer more deals on my books

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. As I am getting older my goals will be more reasonable. Haha! Please come back again soon and remember to review books you love or not wherever you purchased them. We authors will love for your efforts.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
