A Wonderful Thanksgiving – Much to be Thankful for!

I feel so blessed to have a loving and special family! Each Thanksgiving we spend together is memorable – full of love, sharing, caring, food and fun! Each year we go to my sister’s house. She has plenty of food, drink, fun and beautiful decorations!

We usually have about 30+ in her house. This year we only had 16. It was almost empty but we still had a wonderful day. It was so good to see everyone since we don’t get together very often – mostly at holidays – Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. More of my family stopped by later for dessert.

John and I kicked up our old, achy heels a little. We didn’t want to be called old foggies. I can keep up with the best of them still! Haha!

Today, the day after Thanksgiving was spent tirelessly putting up Christmas decorations! We are both exhausted! I wonder how much longer I will want to put up so many. I will share my decorations in another post. You will see what I am talking about – too many!!!

Well, I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday. Take care and enjoy your family every day not just during holidays! Cherish them and let them know how much they mean to you. Love to you!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. Feel free to come back any time. You are always welcome.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

Great to hear you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We also put up our decorations today. Paul did the outside and it looks smashing. I have cut back inside since we downsized but it still looks great and makes the house warm and cosy. I can do it in a couple of hours now.

  2. Looks like a grand time was had by all. We were just the three of us siblings (and the kitties). But we had a lovely day and felt the love of caring and sharing. God Bless us, everyone. ❤
