Encourage your children to read daily. Did you know that children mirror or copy parents habits? That is why we must always put our best foot forward in front of them. We can do this by reading daily, taking our children/grandchildren to the library or book store to find something to read. I assure you if you do this your children/grandchildren will become lovers of books, their vocabulary will be increased, their creativity will be enhanced and their health and wellbeing will improve to make them more positive, happy and fulfilled individuals in their daily lives.
We hear so much about drugs and the dangers of children and teens taking them. We have to teach our children at an early age to beware of taking anything from anyone. Now if someone gives them a book, it’s okay. Phew!

There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them.
