Trish 5 stars

The Gateskin Chronicles truly are magical!  This book continues where The Legend of the Taken Ones left off.  Many new fascinating characters along with challenging problems have been introduced to the story of King Gateskin, his family, and his kingdom.

This cast of amazing characters takes the reader into a mysterious and magical adventure as they work together to protect their kingdom from evil and danger.  The author, Janice Spina, does a fine job of keeping our interest piqued as we follow the king on another exciting journey.  It was such a fun read!

As a writer my world is made up of make believe characters who are more real than you can imagine. They don’t just exist in my mind but they are a part of me. Fellow authors will know what I mean.

It is lovely feeling to hear people talk about my books and discuss the characters. This way they become real to them too! These characters have an essence all their own which grows and grows with each reading or discussion. It is heartwarming to me to hear or read reviews that express what I felt when I wrote the books.

Each story I write is deeply engrained in my soul. We are one and a part of what I am and feel. I hope that you will enjoy my stories and let them take you away to another world, give you peace of mind, and toss away your troubles. Isn’t that why most of us read – to forget our troubles? Of course, we also read to learn and to grow.
