Summer Reading for Children – PS-Grade 3 coming from JEMSBOOKS EXPRESS! Showcasing – JEFFREY THE JITTERY GIRAFFE!

At this writing I have 19 children’s books for PS-Grade 3. Seventeen of these books are in rhyme while the other two are not. They all carry life lessons that encourage children to be kind, caring and sensitive to others’ feelings, help others in need and it’s okay to be different. Hop on JEMSBOOKS EXPRESS today with your children and peruse my award-winning children’s books!

The life lessons that children will learn from this story are:

Jeffrey the Jittery Giraffe – Jeffrey teaches children to be brave and help others in need.

PINNACLE BOOK ACHIEVEMENT AWARD WINNER!

Jeffrey is a nervous giraffe due to a terrible storm on the day of his birth. He remembers that day and is frightened of any kind of noise or unexpected things happening to him. His mother tells him that he is stronger than he thinks.

One day Jeffrey meets another giraffe who needs his help. Read this story in rhyme and find out what important lesson Jeffrey learns when he thinks of others before himself.

I wrote this book after I met a woman at a book signing. She asked me to write a story for her grandson who was having some trouble being nervous and upset about something that had happened to him. I promised I would write a book for him and contact her to send along a copy. However, when I tried to reach her the person who answered hung up on me when I tried to explain why I was calling. I never did reach the woman. Alas, this story was never shared with the little boy at that time. But I did dedicate it to any children who are feeling jittery or afraid of something in their lives. I hope this book inspires them to be brave.
