What are you reading this summer – 18+?

There are millions of books out there in Amazon land! I have 38 and counting right now. Have you read any of my books yet? If you have, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I appreciate your support. I hope you have enjoyed them and read some more.

There are more books coming this year and beyond. I have so many ideas bouncing around in my head that I think it is going to explode! Yikes!

Out of my 38 books there are six for 18+, one so far for 17+ (coming in July). The rest are for MG/PT and children. Jemsbooks has something for all ages! Get reading and get healthier in mind and body. Forget your troubles and all the crazy things going on in our world today for a little while. I promise my books will delight, entertain and keep you turning pages all night until late into the morning hours. Forget about doing housework, yard work, cooking, washing clothes or even eating until you finish them!

One reader, a man, found my book on his wife’s nightstand. He picked it up (Hunting Mariah) and began to read it. He couldn’t put it down. The next day he ordered the sequel, Mariah’s Revenge, and read that in one day. He spoke to his wife after this and exclaimed, ”Why didn’t you tell me about this book?”

She said, ”I didn’t read it yet. But it was written by a friend.”

I still don’t know if she read it yet. But it was nice to know that her husband enjoyed them both (per her note to me). She was surprised that he read them. He never reads anything, she said.

I had a good laugh at this interchange. If you haven’t read these books yet, maybe you better grab a copy to find out why this reader was so enthralled with them. I would love to hear from you and read your reviews so other readers can enjoy them too.

I wrote the first book in 2014 and the sequel in 2018. I hadn’t planned on doing a sequel until a few readers questioned me about what happened next. Going back into the mind of the serial killer was a traumatic time for me. To create a person like this came from the deeper, darker recesses of my imagination. I never envisioned I could come up with this story until I saw a news clip about a rape on a college campus. My daughter was on her way to college at the time. This frightened me. Of course I warned her to never walk along on campus as did the college security to all girls that year. Thank God there were no incidents during the time she was there or since that I know of, that is.

During those years between books I wrote sweet children’s and middle-grade books. It was quite difficult to pick up where I left off from book 1. I had to read the first book again to get into the story once again. The serial killer got into my head in my dreams each night begging me to continue his tale of horror. It was harrowing until I completed the story. Will he get punished? Will justice prevail? You will have to read both stories in order, please! If you don’t, you will be lost. This 2-part series makes great summer reading that you will be talking about for a long time! Share with family and friends and the discussions will continue! Thank you!

Here are my book trailers and some reviews on Amazon.

I hope you enjoy these books sometime this summer. They will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat and send your troubles packing for a while.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. Feel free to come back again any time you are looking for another great read! Thank you for your kind support!
