Jemsbooks for all ages all year through!

If you have been following me since I began blogging here on WordPress you know that I love to write in all genres and for all ages. You will find something for every reading taste with Jemsbooks.

I used Wordart.com to create these promos. They were fun to do. Enjoy!

Some readers ask me why I do this – write in different genres instead of staying with just one. Well, this is my answer to all of you who wonder. I love to do this! I don’t want to get stale staying in just one genre. I think if I did I would run out of ideas of what to write next. By jumping all over the place in genres I feel I stay fresh and there is always another story running around in my head waiting to come out.

I am still editing Book 2 Gateskin Chronicles series at present but my mind is already going outside of the story which I have read so many times that I can’t remember how many at this point. My mind is getting tired of this genre and wants to branch out once again.

This new genre I am writing is different from others in that it is more spiritual in context. It is not for children, however, since there will be content more suitable for 17+. I began this story and then my mind sparked with another story. I put down a few chapters of this book and then jumped over once again into another book which is also spiritual in nature but for 17+ also.

This second book is about a dog. I don’t want to give too much away about these two books just yet until after I publish my fantasy installment. Of course my mind pushed me once again into beginning Book 3 of the fantasy series. So, at present I am working on three books all different as night and day.

My mood each day will determine which book I want to continue at that time. I have been known to pick up all three and go back and forth working on a chapter in each.

Today I just got another idea for a second collection of short stories for children. This book will be book 2 in the Bedtime Stories for Children series. Good grief! I think I am going insane! What do you think? Please be kind.

That’s not all, God help me! I also have some ideas that are stewing about two more series using a character from two of my novels. Yikes! I don’t know if I will listen to that muse just yet. I can’t take on any more than what I have now to complete. If I don’t listen to this muse, it will invade my dreams and be persistent until I give in and write down what it wants me to create.

My husband already thinks I am. He can’t believe that I am doing all this at my age. I can’t either, though I attribute my drive to the fact that I am getting older and want to make my goal of 45+ books. I am now at 38 with one more book coming in July and three more in the works. There is no end to this madness!
