New Children’s Book from Jemsbooks – Make Believe (Bedtime Stories for Children) is now available!

My newest book is now published and available on Amazon as a kindle and paperback on Amazon and soon to Barnes & Noble. This new book is for children ages 5-8 or younger. It’s perfect for bedtime or any time. A new kind of children’s book with short stories and just one illustration per story. Each story carries valuable life lessons to teach children to be kind to animals, friendship matters, accept differences, and think of others before oneself. It can be enjoyed by early readers or be read by parents/guardians at bedtime or any time.

I came upon three of these stories that I had written several years ago when I was working on another WIP. I quickly pulled them aside and wrote three more stories to put together in this collection for children. My husband, John, created the illustrations for each story to bring it to life. I repeated the illustration on each page of the stories so that children would not have to go back to the chapter to look at the characters. I think it is fun to see it in front of you on each page. The characters are all adorable; a lovely job by John. Kudos to him.

Blurb:

This is a short story collection for children ages 5-8 or younger. They are perfect for bedtime or any time. They can be read by early readers or by a parent/guardian. The stories will provide a fun reading time for both the reader and the listener.

There are six stories with a colorful illustration of the characters of each story – one about an alien, a dragon, a fairy, a bear, a bear and a boy and a skunk. Each story will have a life lesson for children to learn.

I hope your children will enjoy these stories and read them often. They may even become their favorite book of all time! I enjoyed writing these stories and look forward to writing more to put together into other collections.

This book is a new format for me and different from my other children’s books. I hope you are enjoying all my other books too! By putting only one illustration for each story and repeating it on every page throughout the stories enables children to enjoy it without having to turn back to the chapter heading to see it again. Happy Reading!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. I hope you will come back again for more new books, reviews, interviews, posts about birds, fish and whatever else pops into my already overcrowded brain. Don’t forget to review books you have read wherever you purchased them. We authors love your reviews. Thank you for your kind support!
