It is finally feeling like spring with the warmer weather. I love watching things grow. I snapped a few photos when I noticed some sprouts or flowers coming up. Winter is such a long season that I am always so happy to see and feel spring. It is a fleeting season though and sometimes gets into summer too quickly which also flies by and then we are back into winter again! Yikes!
I don’t want to rush the seasons right now. I want to enjoy each season for the beauty that is there. Living in New England can be challenging especially as I get older. I notice I am more careful in the winter months with the snow and ice. Walking can be treacherous.
With the lovely weather coming also comes the rain which we need for the flowers. I look forward to purchasing flowers and putting them around the deck and yard. My husband does all the planting but I get to enjoy the beauty and photograph it all for my blog.
We purchased two of these whirly bluebirds with chimes instead of flowers that have to be watered and tended. They always make so much of a mess on our front deck. These birds are beautiful and fascinating to watched as they whirl and twirl. We haven’t gotten enough wind to work the chimes yet.
We will have plenty of flowers all over the yard and on our back deck to enjoy. I will be sharing them once the weather gets warm enough to have some. Look forward to sitting out on our deck and enjoying the birds and the nice weather.
Thank you for stopping by to read this post. I will share more of the beauty of spring soon. Come on back again!
Thank you for your kind support of me and my books. Please keep those reviews coming! It’s like early Christmas presents each time I receive one!

So thrilling to see leaves where only yesterday there were buds!
Yes! There are more coming now since I took these photos. Hugs x
We are many weeks ahead of you! The heat here rushes spring! Our lilacs and azaleas and iris are out!
Wow! That’s great! Azaleas are just beginning now. The weather has been in the 50’s and 60’s not warm enough for things to bloom very fast.
