Writing is so much fun and magical! Let the Magic Begin!

I love to write! I never realized how much fun it would be to create stories, worlds, people, places, things, creatures out of words. It is magical to sit at my keyboard and let my imagination go wild. My muse is working around the clock to create scenarios for stories in my head. Some days I feel as if my head will explode with all the sparking going on in there. Stories want to come out, characters want a voice, places want to be explored, creatures want to come alive and words want to be read. Let the creating begin!!

WordClouds

Many years ago I thought I would not have anything to do to keep myself busy once I retired. I had no idea how busy or productive I would be. Here it is now eleven years since I retired from work, 30 books published, all kinds of creative projects under my belt and no end in sight for more ideas to write about (thank God). I feel blessed and grateful for all of it. I may not be famous or rich but I am happy and feel somewhat successful at what I do and love every minute of my life as a writer.

I don’t know what I would do if I stopped writing. Of course, I do have a lot of other things I like to do such as sew, crochet, read, review, blog and also bake and cook to keep me busy. But nothing is as much fun as creating a story and feeling the thrill as the characters take the story and soar. I never know how it’s going to end thanks to them. I am just along for the ride – and what a ride!!

WordCloudS

It’s as much fun as creating these WordClouds with WordClouds.com. Check them out. I love creating something to share on my blog.

My mind is always whirling with new ideas. I just came up with three new books for children, middle-graders and preteens from short stories to a series about an angel and another about a dog. Who knows if they will eventually be published? But I will have a great time playing around with them until I figure it all out. My goal was to complete four books in 2022. I still don’t know if I will be successful in doing this since I am working on Book 2 of a fantasy series, putting together a short story collection for kids and debating whether to finish two stories that may be the beginning of two series for MG/PT readers. I guess anything is possible!

In the meantime, please check out all my books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Love to hear from you and reviews are welcome!!
