We all need to find something different to read. When I wrote this book, In a Second, I wanted to create something outside what I had already written. This character came to me after seeing the name online, Athena. Once I had a title and a name for the main protagonist I flew with the story.
As in all my stories the characters take over. Athena was nearly overshadowed by her Gramma Grace who is a strong woman with formidable powers of clairvoyance and then-some. Grace always has the answers to every problem and controls more than she admits. I think she is trying to tell me that she wants her own story. I don’t know about that but you never know. She could come to me in a dream and push me to write a story for her.
