I love to read every day. It doesn’t matter what kind of day it is – rainy, sunny, warm, hot, cool, cold or just a miserable day. I read, read and read again. Of course the summer days are good to get outdoors but bring your book with you. You never know when you will have a moment to settle down with your latest read.
Did you know that reading is good for your health? Yes, it is! There have been studies that show evidence of this fact. Read my previous post. Here is an online post that tells you a lot about how reading helps improve brain function. Check it out.
If you want your children to keep their reading levels up – read with them every day. It’s a fun time to get close and cuddle and enjoy them. Our children are so precious! Let’s bring up a generation of readers, thinkers and lovers of reading!

There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them. You are giving them so much more than you could ever imagine, e.g., you spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and welbeing and encourage them to love reading. The gift of a book is worth more than gold to our children, grandchildren. Keep reading and gifting books to children. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers. Thank you for your support!
