Summer is Racing Toward Us!

Here in New England we had a few days of heat in the 80’s and 90’s that felt like it was already summer! But today it is much cooler in the 50’s! The whole Memorial Day weekend is supposed to be a washout! Yikes! But this is New England weather for you. Just wait a minute and it will change again.

All our flowers and plants are out on the back deck to capture the sun (when it’s out again) and heat and hopefully thrive and survive in the cooler temps today. These photos were taken on a nice day, obviously.

I find that I feel happy when I see flowers growing. My joy inside grows with the beauty of the flowers. Do you feel that way too? It reaffirms my belief in something greater than we are out there that would bring our Earth to life after a long winter. Please enjoy my flowers and all the beauty below. I hope they bring some joy into your lives and light the way for you out of despair. Take care.

Hibiscus

The Hibiscus has many buds since I last took this picture above. It’s raining today so I don’t want to go out and take another photo to show you but I promise when the sun is out again I will snap a photo with flowers out.

I have been snapping photos of our rhododendrons in full bloom and roses that are beginning to bud. I have almost 10K photos on my phone and I keep taking more. I want to keep all these memories as long as I can. Do you do this too?

Pink rhododendron is so gorgeous it appears to be in 3D!

Red roses beginning to bud

As for our Rose of Sharon plants (17 of them) they are just greening up but no signs of flowers yet. They will be spectacular when they begin to fill out after being cut twice last year. But they always come back with a vengeance. Thank goodness. I love seeing them in bloom. They attract my favorite bird – the amazing hummingbird.

I enjoy sharing all the beauty around us for my readers. I hope you enjoy seeing my photos. I promise to provide many more for your pleasure.

Please take care and enjoy each day as if it were your last. As I get older I feel as if that could be possible – each day is getting closer to my last. I pray that I will do all I can to provide entertaining books, blog posts and bring a smile to your faces each day. We all have our personal issues in our lives and we grow stronger if we stay positive. Some days it is difficult to continue to do that. I will keep you all in my prayers that you will stay strong through whatever you may have to overcome in your daily lives. Pray for me too. We all need that.

Read, read and read again daily to keep yourselves positive and healthier. Reading, writing and blogging keep me upbeat when I feel down. The joy in life you feel comes from your positive attitude and what you do daily to reinforce that joy. I read, crochet, blog, review and shop online to keep me happy. 😆

Please check out all my books online at Amazon and BN – links below and by clicking on covers to the right of this post. Thank you so much for your support. Love & blessings!

Thank you for stopping by to read this post. I appreciate your kind support of me and my books and all the reviews that I receive. Please keep them coming! I hope you will keep coming back for more entertaining reading and events about new works, daily news, birds, fish and other things that pop into my already overcrowded head.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!
