Spring is Showing Signs of Life Again!

My husband and I took an enjoyable walk around the neighborhood again in between the rainy and cooler days we have had recently. It was good to get out and about.

I began my day with a surprise double egg yolk looking up at me!

A surprise – a double yolk for breakfast to begin my day

I snapped several photos on a walk around the neighborhood. Though it was cloudy it didn’t rain yet.

Trees in bloom on our walk
More spring beauty
Gorgeous maple tree in bloom
Azalea in bloom
More beautiful azaleas
Pink rose bush greening up
Ash tree showing signs of life
Red rose bush

Something’s brewing?

Pond view – not showing any signs of life yet
A lone turkey
A lone sparrow on the feeder
Sparrows lining up to eat at feeder

We sat on our deck to rest after our walk. All the birds flew up to the roof to wait for us to leave so they could eat at the feeders. They were getting impatient so we went inside to let them feed in peace. They are beginning to think that the deck is theirs. Sigh!

I hope you enjoyed walking around my neighborhood with me. Thanks for stopping by.

Soon there will be more flowers to share with you. All my photos are copyrighted and cannot be used.

We are a few weeks ahead of you here, Janice – the trees are fully fledged in that bright, new spring green. There is a field of buttercups down the way and wildflowers if I take the wooded path back to our house. Thanks for a rewind of spring!

  2. Delightful pictures, Janice. Spring is such a great time of year.

Gorgeous flowers, Janice. There is nothing more rejuvenating than a walk on a mild spring day. Trees and spring flowers are everywhere here – a balm for the soul. Love and hugs.
