I promised to share my photos of all 18 Rose of Sharon bushes in my yard. Here is the link to a previous post of them beginning to flower.
Now for the updated version of the flowering. Boy, this sounds so boring! If were a reader I would be falling asleep now. Sorry about that. But some readers have requested more photos of these gorgeous bushes.

As you can see by the above photos all the flowers are a little different, not only in color but in stamen and petals.

Some of these bushes are in two colors now. I guess the bees have been busy pollinating them and spreading the color around. I love it!

More flowers below that are still blooming even in the cooler temps we are now getting.

Above is a circle in front of our house that we take care of and water (John not me) daily. This year we planted marigolds. We already had lilies and roses. But we also received a nice surprise – some petunias came up from a couple of years ago. They are the lilac and pink ones above. They filled in around the marigolds. Looking lovely as the rest and adding some more color to the circle.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my flowers. It will be sad when they are all gone. The weather here in New England USA – New Hampshire has been cooling off lately. The evening are getting cooler too prompting me to put aside the shorts and bringing out the capris again.
Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. I hope you have a lovely day wherever you live in this wide wonderful world!
