My husband I recently visited beautiful Ogunquit, Maine. It’s a lovely area where there is plenty to see and do. We stayed at Auberge at the Cove which is across the bridge from quaint little Perkin’s Cove. This is a fabulous area for restaurants, shops and fishing boats and sailing trips.

We shopped in some of these shops and also at some of the downtown ones and found a plastic serving dish with a Maine map on it, a small wooden condiment tray, a sweatshirt, and a plaque with a photo of the bridge to Perkins’ Cove below.

Food, glorious food and plenty of it! Lobsters, clams, crab and lobster rolls! Yum!!

The photo above was taken on a boat trip to Nubble Lighthouse. It was so relaxing and beautiful with all the coves and gorgeous houses along the way. I even caught seagulls in flight below as they followed us.

Here are some photos of our trip to Perkin’s Cove and Marginal Way (a one mile walkway along the river and ocean that is breathtaking.

This was a fabulous two-day and two-night trip to Ogunquit Maine. If you haven’t been to Maine please give yourself a treat and visit Ogunquit and Perkin’s Cove and Marginal Way. You will be delighted. Maine is one of my favorite places to visit. I have been going there since I was a little girl.
We were fortunate to have beautiful weather – sunny skies, warm temperatures – 80-90’s. The seafood was wonderful too! We both love seafood and had our fill for a while. Sigh!
Thank you for stopping by to read about my trip. Hope you are having a wonderful summer or whatever season you are in where you live.

Oh, it’s my second favorite state! First is NH of course. Enjoy your lobsters and clams! Yum! Did you sign up for the New England Authors Expo yet for December? We will be going. 🤗❤️ Hope you can make it. Love to meet you!
The one at the Danversport Yacht Club? Is it a good event for book sales?
Not as good as others but we are going to go because it will be good for Christmas sales. 🤗
This particular town in Maine is featured in Stephen King’s novel, The Stand. It is where one of the Main Character’s, Frannie, comes from and he describes it in detail. I always wondered what it looked like and now I now. FAbulous photos, Janice. Did you eat that whole lobster?

You bet I did! Loved every mouthful! 😀 I didn’t know about that book. King’s books frighten me half to death.
I love King and he writes great descriptions.
