Books Read in February 2019!

In between writing I managed to read eleven books which I reviewed on Goodreads and Amazon. Each month I will share the books I’ve read in a post per month. My goal for this year on Goodreads is to read 95 books. Last year I read 112 books. I did not want to push myself as much this year due to my publishing goal of five books in 2019.

As in my own multi-genre writing I enjoy reading in different genres. These books cover a wide range of genres by talented authors. I recommend all these books to my readers.

Here are my reviews on Amazon and Goodreads:

ELLIS Andrew Joyce

The Raven Witch of Corfu Episode 1 Effrosyni Moschoudi https://www.amazon.com/Raven-Witch-Corfu-episode-fantasy-ebook/product-reviews/B07J4V96RP/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_show_all_btm?ie=UTF8&reviewerType=all_reviews

Ayn Rand’s “Character Loops” Mark Tier

This book was not on Amazon but is available on Goodreads where I put my review reason why I don’t have a cover of it to feature here. Here is my full review.

A Helpful Guide to Character Loops!

I received this book and chose to review it without any compensation.

This is an insightful guide for writers on the act of developing characters and looping them into a story. The author shares his expertise and that of other authors’ on creating characters, names, traits, visual, and emotional tags by examples throughout the book.

I have drawn some much needed knowledge from this resource that will hopefully help me in my future books.

House of the Hanging Jade Amy M. Reade

Go! Hold On 2! Peter Darley

Jackson: A Novel Max Byrd

The Neighbor Lisa Gardner

(Because there were so many reviews I couldn’t find mine on Amazon to embed the link, I had to post it below from Goodreads. This books is that good!)

I have read books by Lisa Jackson before and have never been disappointed. She is a talented writer and creator of suspenseful mystery thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat.

The Neighbor was an exceptional read! I couldn’t put it down reading late into  two  nights until I finished it. There were so many twists and turns, suspects, and secrets that finally were revealed.

It was gripping, shocking, spine-tingling but oh so exciting and enjoyable. I only wish that I wrote this  book.

I highly recommend anything written by this incredibly talented author. I look forward to reading more in this detective series.

The Joy of the Gospel Evangelii Gaudium

Queen Esther’s Big Secret: A Purim Story

Killing Kind Gregg Dunnett

One Night of Grace Terry O’Dell

This was a novella which I received as a gift from the author. It is not listed on Amazon or Goodreads. You can only receive it directly from the author. It was a quick enjoyable read.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you will check out these wonderful books. Please come back next month for more books I have read and my reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. Please show some love for authors by reviewing their books wherever you purchased them. We authors will love you back.

I’ve got the first part of my February reviews coming up on Monday. You’ve got a very diverse selection here, Janice. Lisa Jackson is always exceptional and I have been meaning to check out The House of Hanging Jade. I also have a book on Pope Francis I purchased and have yet to read. You read a LOT, LOL!

A good number and a very literary challenge on your part. Always better to know in advance what one wants to read and you give that opportunity. Good for your work.
