Memories of Aruba!

We have had such a wonderful time in Aruba this year. We were fortunate enough to get three weeks there.

Our last night was a special time for all. Here are the friends we met many years ago and continue to see each year at the Divi Phoenix. It woudn’t be the same without them. They are all fantastic people, and we are blessed to have met them. We have so much fun together. We love them and will miss them until we meet again same time, same place next year.

We spent our last night at the Pure Ocean Restaurant at Divi Phoenix Beach Resort. We had a delicious meal from appetizers to dessert. We left there feeling full and happy. The waiters were terrific and accommodating! They had a man playing an electiric violin with computerized accompaniment. The music added mor fun to our last night.

Some of the delicious food we had here.

I had Pasta Pescatore – spaghetti with seafood in tomato and capers sauce. Dessert came with the meal – John and I enjoyed Creme Brûlée.

Now we both need to go on a diet – but believe it or not we both trimmed down even with all the food we ate. That’s due to the walking twice a day, morning and night. We accrued about 8-10 miles a day. We moved all day long in the water too.

Here we are a few days ago on the beach having a little gathering (party) at one palapa (Marty’s & Trish’s). Thanks to Jane & Bob for these photos below.

A beautiful vacation was had by all! We look forward to next year!

Thank you for stopping by to see my post. I hope these photos warmed you up if you are having some cool weather where you live. We will be heading back home to some much colder weather than we are used to! Brrrr!
