How Do You Promote Your Work as an Author?

There are many ways to promote your work as an author. I consider myself an author who is still on the job training. Each time I publish a book I have to learn some new ways to promote it. In the process of promoting I learn something new each time. At present I have published 17 books – so that amounts to a whole lot of learning!

I have been fortunate enough to have met some wonderful people online who are fellow authors with more training and experience than I. Under their kind tutelage I have learned about publishing, writing and promotion. I must mention these lovely people so that new authors or aspiring authors will have a better chance at a smooth transition from writer to author.

Here a few of my wonderful and inspiring fellow authors who go out of their way to help others. I thank them profoundly with much love and hugs! Check their websites out and see what I mean.

Sally Cronin – Supports authors by showcasing their books on her blog and has important information about publishing, writing, etc.

Hugh Roberts – Has an informative blog where he supplies helpful information for bloggers/writers/authors.

Chris Graham – His blog is a treasure trove of information for authors. He also creates videos, book covers and book trailers. Chris has created two fantastic book trailers for my two novels.

These are but a few of the lovely people online who are willing to aid others in their quests to survive as authors in this busy, demanding, and highly competitive business. There are many more authors, bloggers, and others who will be happy to help you promote your books. You need to look out there to find them.

Here are more fabulous online friends (authors and bloggers) who have been supportive of me. I am grateful to them for their friendship and for all their help to get my books out there! Please check out their blogs for some interesting posts.
