Days, weeks, months and years seem to be flying by! As we get older that is how it feels.
I put in some of my flowers that are still beautiful to cheer you up as you think about getting older. They don’t seem to notice that summer is almost over.
When you are a child you can’t wait to be all grownup.
As a preteen you want to be a teenager, to drive and date.
As a teen you want to be 18-21 so you can drink and vote.
In your twenties, life feels like a lark.
In your thirties you start to look around and wonder what you have done.
In your forties you start to feel like you forgot something when you see how grownup your kids now are and who no longer listen to you.
In your fifties you feel like a kid again and sow your oats to prove you still can do as much as you once did.
In your sixties you pay more attention to your wrinkles that keep on sprouting up everywhere but keep on laughing anyway because you can’t keep them back. You begin a quest to complete all your goals or at least some of them for Father Time is leaning heavily over your shoulder.
In your seventies (I haven’t gotten there yet) I hope to complete more goals and do some good deeds daily to make people happy. Father Time is now sitting on my lap causing me to feel achy and stiff in the joints.

I certainly hope that I will live well into my eighties and beyond but I plan to keep on trekking! More books to write, more goals to meet, and more people to help.
The most important things in life are family, friends and making one another happy, spreading good deeds and kindness everywhere.
Remember that age is only a number. Think young and take care of yourself and you will feel younger. We are years young not years old.
I hope that you have much love and laughter and happiness in your lives. Please enjoy each day as if it were your last!

Flowers are like people – they are all different but each has its own beautiful characteristics as we all do.
Take a look at this mother plant, a Rose of Sharon bush. We transplanted several shoots from this plant to create the extraordinary plants below. They come in different colors, some with two colors on the same bush. They are beautiful!
Blessings & Hugs,

I can’t believe how fast this year has gone. Scary. Thanks for sharing your lovely flowers.
Thank you, Mary! 😘
Living in the moment slows time down, but it’s so hard to do! I reckon advertisers speed up time by making us live in the future – it’s ‘Back to School’ before the summer holidays even start, and Christmas as soon as they’re over.
I think you’re amazing Janice, keep on being young 🌸🙋🏼
You are so sweet, Charlotte! Thank you! But you are the amazing one! Maybe one day we will meet. 💕
I hope so 🤞🏼🌸
Lovely, Janice, in all ways. Thank you.
Thank you, Jennie! 😘
You’re welcome, Janice. 🙂
Janice, I think you summed it up perfectly. I must remark several times a week how fast time flies. Your flowers are gorgeous! Love and hugs.
Thank you, Michelle! 💕
Great post!
