Latest visitor to our back deck!

We were surprised and shocked to see a new visitor to our back deck. This time it was a young bobcat! I could tell it wasn’t an ordinary cat by its stubby tale and pointy ears. It appeared to be confused while it wandered around our back deck then raced down the stairs to circle the pond looking for an opening to get into the pond.

We’ve had other visitors below – a groundhog, hawk, turkey, great blue heron and deer.

I enjoy spotting all the wildlife we have around our backyard. I guess we really are in the country by the looks of these photos. I love every minute of living here in New Hampshire – Live Free or Die – our state’s slogan.
