It has been a year since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The year has flown by but his memory has not dimmed in the hearts and minds of so many people, young and old. The work he did with Turning Point USA has enabled this group to grow and spread across the USA and even beyond.
I had not really known about Charlie Kirk until after he died, sad to say. On the day he died I began to watch some of his gatherings and was blown away that someone could be so spiritual and at the same time so strong in his beliefs about family and so many other tough subjects that others do not want to even contemplate. He was fearless, strong and resilient in his beliefs and never gave up trying to talk with people to help them understand the importance of God and family and loving oneself.
My heart goes out to his wife and children who must continue his fight to encourage others to believe in God and Jesus Christ and what HE expects of us here on earth. May God bless Charlie’s wife and family and keep them strong. Charlie Kirk now rests with God and looks down upon what he has started.
