I wrote this story after meeting a woman at one of my book signings years ago. She mentioned that her grandson was frightened easily and asked if I would write a story for him. I promised I would and created Jeffrey’s story. Unfortunately, I could not reach her to give her grandson, Jeffrey, this book. By this time he is all grown up and no longer in need of this story. I hope he conquered his fears.
