Wishing you a Healthy & Happy New Year!

Well, we survived our two Christmas gatherings and now we look forward to the New Year. With God’s help we will survive another year with good health and the love of family and friends.

I pray that you all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas and are staying healthy for the New Year. We have had a few family members with minor colds and flu but they will soon mend.

Here are some photos of our feast and a visit from Santa. The tables filled up with more goodies later on but I captured it earlier. We had plenty to eat and are still eating leftovers. Time to freeze them all except the cookies! Dieting will come after the New Year! Sigh!

It was wonderful seeing all the family together minus the ones who were sick. We only see each other a few times a year like this. Our times together are precious but exhausting for the older ones (John & I). We are hanging in there and doing our best with the help of the stronger and younger men in the family to help move and lift tables and heft things back upstairs. All had a wonderful time especially when Santa visited and gave each child a gift and all the adults got a scratch ticket.

I hope your gatherings were filled with joy, love and plenty of family and friends and of course food!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Please remember to review books for authors who are waiting patiently for your words. We thank you for your efforts. It’s not too late to shop for those special people in your life – books make perfect gifts!

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

We’ve had both kids and their families here since Tuesday and yesterday my brother and his family joined us. I’ve never made food for 13 before! Today is much more peaceful. Happy New Year and lots of book sales!

Thank you, Noelle. I know it is difficult the more you have to cook for. We had plenty of family here for two different days. We are still exhausted. Tonight we are going out with my son and three grandsons. One grandson who I didn’t see at Christmas. More eating!!! Dieting next week!
Tomorrow John’s sister is coming over! Yikes! More cooking and eating!!! Haha!

  2. Happy New Year!! It looks like y’all had a wonderful Christmas. My sister, my hubby & I all went to my daughter & son-in-law’s home (along with my 10 yr old granddaughter) Christmas Eve where we all exchanged gifts from each other & had a wonderful Ham meal.
