First Snowstorm!

We finally received our first snowstorm this week. We have at least 6-8 inches of pristine snow until it gets well traveled on. Sigh! I love seeing how white and sparkling it looks in the bright daylight.

Now that I have been retired for many years I don’t have to go out in the snow and risk my life traveling to work as I did for many years. It feels so good!

Here are some pics I snapped during the storm and the next day. Isn’t it pretty? Haha! Not too pretty to drive in but the next day things are much better to traverse.

The sky was so blue as you can see in these photos above that it enhances the beauty of the snow. Don’t you think?

Wherever you live I hope that you are enjoying the season you are in and staying safe and warm or cool whatever makes you happy. I am staying cozy and warm in my house with plenty of warm afghans that I made. I am thankful that I made them especially this time of the year.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. Please come back again soon and remember to review books for authors everywhere who appreciate your efforts to help spread word about their work so other readers can choose to purchase them. We thank you for taking the time to do this.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

We’re getting cold, dreary rain. Ugh.

  2. we had our first a couple days ago… 4.9 inches (gee whiz)

  3. Your winter wonderland is beautiful! We have had a LOT of snow here in Bridgeport, NY as well. It is supposed to be below zero regular temp here tonight! It is very pretty here, though. Unfortunately I NEED to stay inside or at least on my back deck to protect myself from falling as I am still recovering from major back surgery in Oct.

It is a winter wonderland, Michele! I’m sure NY is getting plenty of snow also. Take care of yourself. It’s not safe walking around in the snow and icy patches. I stay in too because I can’t afford to fall on these old bones! Haha! ❤️❄️🌨️
