More of Aruba – island paradise!

Our vacation is almost over – one more week to go. I mentioned in a previous post that we want to sell our first week in Aruba. We only want to go for two weeks from now on beginning next year. Our second and third weeks are in one room so we don’t have to move. Moving can be a pain and is a wasted day until they have our next room ready for occupancy.

If you are interested in this week, please let me know by sending me an email to jjspina@comcast.net. We have about ten years left on it. The photos were shared in my previous post here. I will discuss price and particulars if you contact me.

More views of Aruba!

The odd photo above is of a crab I saw crawling up a wall outside the elevator not far from our room. Creepy, huh?

Dining and food:

Food is wonderful at all the places we went. We have two restaurants, one for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the other one just for dinner, a deli for breakfast and lunch, a bar on the beach for drinks and lunch, a sundry shop with all kinds of food, toiletries, and beach clothes and other items, and another higher end shop with all kinds of clothes for the beach.

There is also a jewelry store and an aloe shop in our main lobby of the Divi Aruba Phoenix Resort. It is located on Palm Beach with all the other high risers at one end that connects to Eagle Beach which has the low risers hotels.

We have been coming here for 28 years now. We are slowing down and don’t walk as much as we used to but get around with cabs that are plentiful here. Cab drivers are always pleasant and helpful.

Aruba is a perfect place to vacation and we hope to continue to come as long as we can after we sell our first week and then just enjoy the other two weeks.

It’s wonderful to be here but it is always good to get home. I will have plenty of laundry and adjustments to make to acclimate to the much colder weather we will have but we will get into the swing of things soon. I will be back to writing full time once again. Watch for updates on what is coming next from JemsBooks!

I hope you have enjoyed my photos and will come back again soon. Thank you for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Please keep those reviews coming!

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

It sounds wonderful, Janice, but even our week in Maine has become super expensive for us. I can dream!
