Where has spring gone?

Just when New England was beginning to show signs of spring, spring has sprung and gone to sleep. We had one day recently that was in the high 50’s and low 60’s and the next few days in the 30’s and 40’s! This is what NE weather is – wait a minute and it changes from warm to cold and back again. Sigh!

Today I saw several robins hopping around eating worms after a rainy day. It was nice to see even if it was colder than normal. They weren’t affected by the rain or the cooler temps. I couldn’t get a good photo of the robins. Sorry. I hope the sun will come out tomorrow!🎶

Here are some carnations to brighten the day even if it doesn’t feel like spring again.

In between my WIP I have been continuing to work on a jigsaw puzzle. It helps calm me as my mind wanders and unwinds. I hope to complete this puzzle before May! It’s quite difficult with all the colors of the sky and the water that seem to blend in together. My husband is my puzzle buddie and it will definitely take two to complete it!

After I worked on this puzzle I felt relaxed enough to get back to my WIP for at least two hours. I have completed more than 17K words and eighteen chapters. I am expecting to complete this book by summer.

What do you do to unwind? Do you like jigsaw puzzles, work search, or crossword puzzles? I think they all help our brains stay active.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

Fingers crossed that it will. Took a walk a couple of times this week – one day froze and the next better but still cool. Patiently waiting for warmer temps soon! 💐

  2. Hi Janice, I have never enjoyed puzzles. I like to read, paint and write poetry to relax

We do puzzles at the beach with everyone helping! Our weather here was warm for a week, but now is cool again. Our local pool opens on April 17 and I plan to be in it!
