My plants inside are doing well!

I mentioned in another email that my husband chopped my eighteen-year-old hibiscus plant. Here is a photo of it doing quite well (don’t tell my husband I said that!).

I am looking forward to seeing some green grass as the snow continues to melt and then some flowering pushing their way through the soil. Then and only then will it really feel like spring is here!

The only plant that is not doing well is the Peace Plant. It has been going downhill for a while now. It once looks quite beautiful with several flowers.

Here are a couple of photos of before and after. Sad to see.

We have tried everything from repotting it to cutting it back and culling out the dead stuff. Nothing has helped. We also moved it to another room to get sun in a different direction. So far nothing is helping to keep it alive and well. It’s trying though.

I have been busy with other stuff and haven’t been able to get back to my latest WIP, book 4 of the fantasy series. I did work on a couple of amigirumis for Easter. I will get back to it tomorrow or the next day. My characters are getting antsy and pulling me back to get to work. Sigh!

I hope you are having good weather wherever you live. Spring is coming to New England, I know it and can feel it a little with the warmer temps.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support. Come back any time you are always welcome.

  1. Glad to see the hibiscus making a comeback. 🙂 I have a palm that is not doing well. Like you, I’ve tried everything except for repotting, which I may do this weekend. I love my inside plants! They brighten my world.

We have two peace lilies – I know they are pot bound but we feed them plant food every so often and they are happy!
