What is your favorite genre to read?

There are so many books on Amazon that it boggles the mind. I love to read and have an eclectic taste in reading as well as in my writing. I have favorites like everyone else. Mine are mysteries, suspense, historical fiction, serial crime, paranormal mysteries and inspirational stories. What are your favorites?

I write in many of these genres and age groups but would love to hear if there are many you would like to see me write. I love to keep jumping around to different genres to keep my writing fresh and my creativity sparking.

At present I am working on a children’s book and book 4 of my fantasy series. I jump between them from time to time when an idea pops into my head for one of the other books.

JemsBooks has received multiple book awards for all genres.

Do you know how important reviews are for authors? If you don’t, let me explain. Amazon does not recognize our books unless we have over 25 reviews. After we reach that amount they may or may not promote our work. Until we reach that goal, we are drowning in the level of books that keeps growing.

If you want to show some love for authors who are working hard to make it in this myriad book market, please review our books and keep us relevant. When you review books you encourage and motivate us to keep writing for your enjoyment. Thank you so much.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post and for your continued support of me and my fellow authors. You are welcome to visit anytime.

  1. Congratulations on all the awards, Janice! Like you, I am an eclectic reader. The only thing I don’t enjoy reading is erotica and even that’s acceptable if it’s tastefully done.
