We are all so busy with the holidays fast upon us that we need to step back and think about what we are doing and why. We have two parties at our house, one for my husband’s side and the other for mine. There are too many of them to get all together. We do it because we love them!

Here is Santa below posing with one of my books and logo in front of a wall of books. All my books are Santa Approved! I hope Santa is bringing some books to you too this year! Santa is quite exhausted after giving out presents and needs a long rest until next Christmas as we all do. Sigh!

As you can imagine it is exhausting doing two parties a week apart and repeating everything we do twice. But we do love to see everyone and we recuperate after Christmas. Even Santa comes to our house with gifts for all the kids and scratch tickets for the adults. It’s a fun time with plenty of food and then a gift grab at the end. Everyone goes home with something.

Jemsbooks Express is in full swing and drops off books for all the kids. There are plenty to go around even if the adults don’t partake, sad to say, but the children love them. Below notice how much my walls of books are growing. The one above behind Santa was not quite full but the one below is overflowing and moving over to the next wall.

Soon I will run out of wall space to put the rest of the projects up there. Sigh! One day I will share my husband’s paintings with you that are on the other walls. One is shown in the middle photo of one of our vacation trips. I have been keeping him too busy with all my book covers and illustrations for him to find time to paint. Watch for new books coming in 2024 and beyond. Now to find the space to put them all!!
