Make Believe Once Again: Bedtime Stories for Children Series Book 4 by Janice Spina is a fun and entertaining story with well-developed characters. Readers will meet a pelican, a fish, a starfish, a dragonfly, a goat, a chicken, and a rooster. The boy’s character will warm your heart.
Children will feel as if they read a few books combined in one. Each chapter has a unique message about family, friendship, how to be kind to others, and stay true to yourself.
The storyline flows smoothly. It is supported by a few “homemade” illustrations, a little immature, but I think that is what children like these days. The young readers will easily relate to all kinds of animals. The life lessons sprinkled throughout the book will supply knowledgeable information and spark children’s imaginations. It is a very creative book with a bigger vocabulary that parents or teachers can explain to youngers. This small chapter book will fit perfectly for early independent readers or just could be read too younger readers: one story each night.
Overall, it is a great book with underlying messages.
The Bedtime Stories series is here once again with six more fun and entertaining stories for children ages 5-8. In this book children will read about a dragonfly, a goat, a candle, a chicken and a rooster, a boy and a pelican and a fish, and a starfish.
Each story carries important life lessons such as helping others in need, being kind to others, it’s okay to be different, family matters more than riches or being famous, friends are important, and be the best you can be.
When I wrote this series I wanted to create something different for my young readers to give them confidence and teach them new words and things about animals. This is a chapter book with six different stories that can be read one story or more a night. This gives parents and children time to digest the story and discuss it while learning new words and important life lessons.
This series has received four Silver Medals from MOM’S CHOICE AWARDS!
