A Visit to Mac’s Apples!

Here in Londonderry we have a fabulous place to visit, purchase all kinds of fruits and vegetables and stop for a hot dog and/or an ice cream. We visited this place recently so I could snap all these wonderful photos to share here with my readers.

My favorite kind of apples are Honey Crisp and if you are over 65 there is a discount on Tuesdays for purchases. We always stop by on Tuesday in September when Honey Crisp apples are in season.

There are so many pumpkins, squash, gourds, and mums to choose from that it is mind boggling. It’s fun for kids to pick out their favorite pumpkins and take photos on the boards below.

Here is the ice cream stand and the inside of the store where you can purchase all kinds of things plus apples to baked goods.

Here are more photos of inside the store including a photo of Lucille who greeted us as we paid for our purchases.

My husband John above choosing our Honey Crisp apples!

If all this isn’t enough to see and buy there is even a pen with some sheep for the kids to pet.

There is a pond beside the store that is lovely with tables to sit under trees to catch the breeze while you are eating your hot dogs and/or ice cream. It was a beautiful day to visit here and I thoroughly enjoyed perusing all the items. The ice cream was delicious. I had Death by Chocolate with chunks of chocolate and bits of brownies in it! Yum!! The kiddie size is plenty big enough – one large scoop! If you want two scoops, the next size up is the one for you.

I hope you enjoyed our visit to Mac’s Apples in Londonderry, NH which has been open since 1732! It was a worthwhile visit and I’m sure we will be back again for another ice cream and some more apples.

Thank you for stopping by to read this post and for your continued kind support of me and my books. Please remember to review books to help bolster the confidence and readership, and spread word of hard-working authors’ books everywhere.
