I have spent a couple of days working on the six stories for the new addition of the Bedtime Stories for Children Series. Sad to say this will be the last one in this series. I have many other series in the wings waiting impatiently for my attention.

With the extra time that I have taken to work on this book I managed to complete the six stories this week! Wow! I didn’t expect to finish it until August. Now I plan to complete it by late July if my husband finishes all the illustrations by that time. In the meantime, I am editing, polishing and changing things up a bit. I will keep you apprised of its progress.

Check out the other three books to make a complete set for your children this summer or anytime. They are great for reading not only at bedtime but all day long. Children will learn new words that I have added along with another word to explain that new word to them. Don’t be surprised if they begin using some of these words in their daily vocabulary. I would love to hear if they do. It’s so much fun to see children enjoy reading while learning some valuable information. Don’t you agree? There is nothing better than to see a child’s eyes light up when you give him/her a book – even more so when you read the book to them. You are giving them so much more than you could ever imagine, e.g., you spark their imagination, heighten their creativity, lift their spirits, increase their vocabulary, open up a whole new world to them, enhance their health and wellbeing and encourage them to love reading. The gift of a book is worth more than gold to our children, grandchildren. Keep reading and gifting books to children. Let’s bring up a generation of readers and thinkers.
