Each year I hope to publish 4-5 books. This year I plan to do that again. As of this writing I have published Make Believe is Fun: Bedtime Stories for Children in January 2023, Mission of Mercy: Branyrd the Angel Series Book 2 in March 2023. Once I return from my break, I will publish Book 3 in the Bedtime Stories for Children Series in June 2023 making it three books out of five completed.
Here is what’s coming to Jemsbooks in the coming months.
I will begin to write book 4 in the Bedtime Stories for Children Series and publish in August and then delve into Branyrd the Angel Series book 4 in August and plan to publish it in October or November, right after this, I will get back into book 3 of Gateskin Chronicles Series. This book will take a lot longer to complete so you won’t see it until sometime in 2024. In between I may begin another series which I will not say yet. It will be a different kind of genre, I’m not sure if it will be for MG or YA yet. It’s still up in the air. I always begin a book with a title. That is all I need. Once I evaluate the title some more, I will know where the story is heading and if it will be suitable for one age group or another.
My favorite age group to write for is still MG/PT. Ever since I wrote the Davey & Derek Series and the Abby & Holly Series, I have missed writing for that age group. I may decide to go back to that group once again soon.
My goal in writing for MG/PT/YA is to encourage all ages to read daily to enhance their creativity, increase their vocabulary and enable them to live healthier and happier lives. Keep reading and I will keep writing. Thank you! Happy Reading!
