Do you believe in Angels?

Can you tell I love to write about angels? I have written four books involving angels – How Far is Heaven, An Angel Among Us, The Misunderstood Angel and Mission of Mercy Book 1 & 2 in Branyrd the Angel Series. Today I am going to showcase my short story collection, An Angel Among Us. I have already shared a post with How Far is Heaven.

A collection of short stories that covers several genres including romance, grief/loss, mystery, suspense, sci-fi, fantasy and paranormal. This book is dedicated to a courageous friend who passed this year. The first story is specially created for her and is the inspiration for the title of this book.

This book was completed in 2017 the year that I lost my friend, Anne, to breast cancer. I hadn’t spoken to Anne for many years but we connected on FB when I was in the process of working on the stories in this collection.

When she shared that she was in stage 4 breast cancer, my heart went out to her. The only thing I could do was write a story just for her and include it in the collection with a title dedicated to the angel that she was. I never knew a kinder, more compassionate person. She had a heart of gold and had a wonderful sense of humor. No matter how uncomfortable she was she never lost her sense of fun, a close friend at her side me near the end told me.

I did manage to complete Anne’s story and send it to her in time before she passed. She was thrilled with it, but unfortunately she died before I could publish the collection to send her a copy. She will always be remembered fondly with love by me and anyone she touched in her lifetime. I miss you, Anne. May you RIP.

Here are some reviews from Amazon using AllAuthor.com promos.

If you haven’t read this collection yet, it’s time to check it out, don’t you think? If you love short stories in different genres that will keep you turning pages, then this is book for you. You can read a story or two a night. It’s sometimes nice not to have to get into a long story when you are tired. But don’t be surprised if you can’t stop reading at just one or two stories. Each story has a twist at the end. Hope you enjoy them! Happy Reading!

Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. Come back anytime, you hear! Please review books you love or not for all the hard-working authors out there. Thank you for your kind support!
