If you haven’t checked out the Bedtime Stories for Children Series, Make Believe and Make Believe is Fun, now is the time to grab your copies for your children Ages 5-8. This series is a chapter series with six stories in each book that will entertain and delight children. Each story has one illustration created by my husband, John, that will keep children engaged and reading along or being read to by parents/guardians.

I am presently working on six more stories for book 3 which I hope to publish in early June. There will be four books in this series, then I will move on to another series which is in the wings waiting for me. There are always more ideas going around in my head just waiting to be written down before they are lost before.

I began this series when I discovered some children’s stories I had not published yet. I decided to incorporate these stories into one book with one illustration by John for each story which would repeat on each page to keep the children engaged and aware of the character(s) in each tale.

Children ages 5-8 will feel more grownup when they have their own books with chapters that are just right for them to read at bedtime or anytime. My grandson who was eight when I wrote the first book liked the stories and read them all by himself. Each story carries important life lessons that encourage children to be kind to others, differences are to be accepted, family matters, and friendship is important.
