Spring is really here!

I recently took a couple of walks in the beautiful spring weather – 60’s and low 70’s! I love getting out and breathing in the warmer air that is clear and clean without the pollen which will come soon along with the bugs. Yikes! But I guess we have to take the good with the bad.

The sky was a beautiful shade of blue that took my breath away! See photo below. Doesn’t it take your breath away too?

Wow, that was wonderful going out in nice weather or a walk after the cold, snowy winter we had. But we New Englanders are hardy folk and have been through the worst storms, snow, ice, etc.

I am happy to live here when I see all the terrible weather across the nation. God bless all those who have suffered with tornadoes, snowstorms, mudslides, etc. May you find peace and a place to stay and be safe.

As I walked along, I snapped photos of sprouts of flowers and buds on trees. I hope you enjoy my photos.

Finches on feeder

Backyard pond before greening up

Bluebird windchime

Small tree that survived winter on left, day lilies sprouting green, bushes eaten by deer this past winter.

As you can see in the above three photos which I explained under them. In the photo above on the right, notice the eaten bushes that were decimated by the hungry deer when we had all the snow. They don’t normally eat these bushes because they are not as tasty as the arbovitae but they must have been extra hungry. Hopefully they will grow back somewhat in a different shape.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read my post. I will be sharing more photos of the flowers and bushes when they are out soon, I hope.

Blessings & Hugs! Stay Safe, Stay Well and God Bless!

We are into summer here – all the leaves are out and temperatures during the day vary between the low 70s to mid-80s! Cool at night though.
