Busy working on my WIP!

Sorry I missed a few days posting here. I’ve been busy working on my WIP – book 2 in the Branyrd the Angel Series. I have 18 chapters completed and hope to complete a few more each day until I finish with 25-30 chapters and over 250 pages. Who knows, it could be longer if Branyrd wants to keep it going. There will be at least two more books in this series. It’s all up to Branyrd. She is controlling my strings and pulling this way and that to get her missions across to me.

Watch for cover reveal soon created by my talented and good-looking husband, John.

In the meantime, please check out Branyrd’s first book – The Misunderstood Angel: Branyrd the Angel Series Book 1.

Blurb:

This is not a children’s book. Branyrd is a different kind of angel. She has a difficult time being understood because of her habit of getting into all kinds of trouble and for her unacceptable language. Angels are not supposed to swear.

This angel must earn levels to be accepted by the LORD. She is presently at Angel Fourth Class and must ascend to Angel First Class in order to be given a mission to travel to Earth to help a human in trouble.

Once she reaches Angel First Class, she is given a mission and travels to Earth to help a battered woman and her child. Since she is so new to the ways on Earth, Branyrd is accompanied by her Guardian Angel Benedicto, Angel First Class on High, who guides and advises her.

Branyrd doesn’t know what she will do or how she will complete this mission. She must show her strengths and succeed, or she may be demoted. What she finds on Earth is not what she expected. It certainly is nothing like Heaven. There are dangerous people but also those who she will miss dearly when she must leave.

This book is suitable for 15+ even though I have labeled it 18+. There are some unsuitable language for younger children and issues, but YA and older can handle this series. I will never put certain four-letter words in any of my books. You know which ones I mean. There is mild swearing in this series that will dissipate as the series moves along.

It is a sweet, endearing kind of story about good against evil and how Branyrd deals with the serious and complex issues of today’s world. I think you will become a believer of Angels like Branyrd after reading these books. Don’t we all need an ANGEL in our lives some days? I know I do!

Please check out Branyrd’s first book today to get into the character before book 2 comes out in March. Here is what other readers are saying about the Angel.
