Davey & Derek Junior Detectives – Magical Adventures for Middle-Graders, Preteens and Young Adults!

Do your MG/PT/YA spend more time on technology e.g. iPhones, games on X-box and other venues? Maybe it’s time to grab copies of this magical adventure series, Davey & Derek Junior Detectives Series Books 1-6 in time for Christmas or any time. This series is enjoyed by both boys and girls.

It was so much fun to write. I felt like a kid again as I created stories to entertain MG/PT/YA. All my books carry life lessons that promote friendship, family values, helping others is important, accepting anyone who is different and everyone matters.

Davey and Derek Donato are twins, but not identical, who love to play detective. They are always ready for adventure living in the sleepy little town of Lindon where nothing happens. The twins overhear about a sixth grader who lost her cell phone. The fifth-grader twins kick into detective mode to solve their first case with the help of their friends, Mickey Catonni, aka cat. Things don’t seem to add up when a bully gets into the mix.

The life lesson that is most prominent in this first book is bullying should never be accepted or tolerated. Bullying is prevalent in our world today unfortunately. When I was young I was bullied being a shy and quiet little girl. As I got older I recognized the bullies, stayed away from them and tried to show that I was stronger and no longer shy. We must remember that bullies are insecure and trying to put others down to their level of insecurity. They may be bullied in their home life or by others in the past and only know this way to deal with people. In book 1, I show how the characters deal with a bully in a kind and caring manner.

Once your kids begin this series they will want to keep reading right through to the last book. I hope they enjoy this series as much as I enjoyed writing it.

This is a good thing, for every hour they read is one hour less they are on cell phones, game cartridges and other technology. Their minds will be more active and less zombie-like.

Check out what other readers say about these books.
